Our Why(s)

Why coaching?
Put simply, coaching works. Research tells us that coaching leads to improved performance, higher job satisfaction, heightened employee engagement, and real, measurable behaviour change.
Leaders and managers often tell us they're tired of sitting through training sessions that feel irrelevant or ineffective. “This doesn’t apply to my situation,” or “I’ve tried that, and it doesn’t work” are common frustrations. Coaching is the opposite of a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
And the benefits don’t stop at the office - leaders who undergo coaching report a better work-life balance and stronger family relationships. We know that when leaders are thriving, they create more positive, engaged workplace cultures.
Coaching doesn’t just improve leaders – it elevates everyone around them.
Why Coaching Psychologists?
We know coaching works, but we also recognise that the coaching industry can be a bit of a "wild west." There are no universal standards, and anyone can call themselves a "coach" regardless of their training or experience. That's why all our Psychologist Coaches are highly qualified Chartered Psychologists with a minimum of ten years supervised coaching experience.
As Psychologists, we take an evidence-led approach. We’re always up-to-date with the latest research in workplace behavioural science and we share these insights with our clients.
Our supple programme is based on years of working with leaders across industries; we know what knowledge is useful to leaders and we know that simply knowing the theory isn’t enough - it’s about putting it into action. That's why we focus on the transfer of learning. Our supple leaders understand themselves and others, and know how to use this knowledge to thrive in dynamic work environments.

Why supple?
We have to admit, we were pretty pleased with ourselves when we came up with the acronym "Supple." It captures the essence of what leaders need in today’s fast-changing world: flexibility of thought and behaviour.
But let’s be clear: the components of our supple programme weren’t crafted just to satisfy our linguaphile whims. Each of the six elements is grounded in solid psychological research, designed to equip leaders with the tools they need to stay resilient, responsive, and ready for whatever comes next.
