Abbie Hunkin
Coaching Psychologist
Abbie is a Chartered Coaching Psychologist with fifteen years’ experience in executive
coaching and leadership development.
Prior to training as a Psychologist she worked in local government in the UK. Since then her work has been varied, from assessing the leadership
of the National Government of the UAE in the desert to conducting cognitive assessments of
prisoners in the UK and surveying organisational culture in Australia.
As a Psychologist with extensive corporate experience, she combines an understanding of
the pressures and challenges of a broad range of work environments with a deep psychological understanding.
Abbie Holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Psychology and is an EMCC accredited
Senior Practitioner Coach. With 12 years’ experience and training in working with Neurodivergent clients, she is a passionate champion of true diversity and inclusion at work.
When not working, nothing makes Abbie happier than exploring the world with her family, playing music badly, and throwing herself into cold water in beautiful places.
Marie Stopforth
Coaching Psychologist
Dr. Marie Stopforth is a coaching psychologist with a unique blend of expertise in leadership development, sport psychology, and coaching.
After training as a Sport and Exercise Psychologist, she transitioned to coaching, where she now helps senior leaders, high-potential individuals, and teams unlock their potential and navigate complex leadership challenges.
With over 15 years of experience in Higher Education and consultancy, Marie empowers clients to lead with clarity, confidence, and emotional intelligence.
Marie holds a PhD and multiple certifications relating to psychology and coaching and is committed to continuous learning to stay at the forefront of the field.
Outside of coaching, she enjoys Pilates, swimming, yoga, skiing and indulging in the occasional sweet treat (and a glass of bubbles on Fridays!)
Her approach is always practical, grounded in science, and designed to make leadership development both insightful and fun.
